Tesco’s have joined the DVD rental service to offer their own competitively priced monthly subscription service, you can even earn points on your subscription. Tesco offer a simple three step pricing structure determined by the number of DVDs posted out at each time (at an unlimited number of times per month). Their pricing structure starts at the low price of £7.97/month for a 1 DVD mailout, followed by 2 DVDs at any one time for £11.47/month and finally their 3 DVDs mailout at £13.97 per month. As with most firms postage and packing is by first class mail both ways at no additional cost to subscribers. Online management enables changing from one package to another and cancellation of your membership at no additional cost as long as all outstanding DVDs are returned within 7 days of cancellation. Their 14 day trial allows you to test their service before paying subscription fees. A simple search facility allows for quick location of any films that you wish to add to your list - the matches are ordered by title, actor, director or synopsis. Alternatively, you can browse through their categories (including Indian Cinema, Television, Sport, Music and Children categories) or through special selections such as Great Date movies, Biblical Epics, Best of 2004, Pot Luck, 100 Eighties greats, 100 $300m movies and 100 funniest films.
